Let's Chat Eyebrows
Eyebrows have the power to transform our face- get it right, and it can change your whole look! I had my eyebrows microbladed 5 years ago and I haven’t looked back. I couldn’t be happier with them and haven’t had them touched up since then. I know microblading isn’t for everyone, so here are a few brow tips and product recommendations to help you get yours in good shape. Brow pencils and microblading can make our brows look a bit flat so day to day, I use brow mascara to lift the hairs. All makeup lines do a brow mascara, and it’s a quick and easy product to use. Simply brush it up through your brow hairs. When I have a bit more time, I use a brow pencil or brow powder to add a little more definition. Our eyebrows should start in line with the edge of our nose, so hold a brush or pencil on each side of your nose to see where that should be. Start there and draw or brush a single line of product along the bottom edge of the brow to the peak and then a second line from the peak to the end of the brow. Use a spoolie to brush the product up through the brow for a natural look- no harsh lines and block colour are recommended here. Finish the brow with a coat of brow mascara to add dimension. Shaping our brows is often best left to the experts, as once they’re gone, they’re gone! But using a brow blade and tweezers to remove the stray hairs away from the brow is an effective way to enhance the look of our brows. Our Donna May London Brow Blade and tweezers are easy to use, but they are sharp, so be careful.
