Ambitious and not afraid to say it!
AMBITION
I have been having some life coaching sessions with Jessica Cunningham over the last few weeks and she’s been amazing at ‘unblocking’ certain feelings/thoughts that I have been having over a variety of things. From building a business and the all consuming factors this involves, to the guilt of earning money ( yes....there is such a thing!)
Jess has helped me go back to my younger self and re-write the outcomes for certain situations that I’ve been through which have led to the negative feelings I carry as an adult...She's definitely made me feel a lot less weight on my shoulders, I have clearer aims and am finally comfortable with the word ‘Ambitious’.
MARRAKESH
I am currently on my way home from the most wonderful family holiday in Marrakesh which we kept as a secret from my children to surprise them. It was a much needed break for all of us and I have fallen in love with this beautiful city.
I could have spent hours wandering round the vibrant souks with all their colourful and vibrant stalls - so much inspiration for our new Spring & Summer collections at Donna May Makeup.
Whilst in Marrakesh, I also got the chance to wear my gorgeous shoes that I found in Sainsbury's...they were perfect!
BEAUTIFUL TILES
Many of you will know that outside of the Makeup World, I am an interiors addict. I love nothing more than devouring the pages of interiors magazines and can get lost for hours on Pinterest. Whilst I have been away in Marrakesh, my business partner Sarah (equally as interiors obsessed) has been doing a few renovations to her gorgeous home on the Isles of Scilly...we will be showing you more of our homes over the coming months but in the meantime I will share the gorgeous tiles she has just sourced from Claybrook Tiles for her new log burner installed last week...just divine!

CHINA HERE WE COME
The countdown is on for our annual trip to China where we will be visiting our fabulous suppliers and also to discuss and see samples of our exciting new products for 2020. We will keep you up to date on our progress over on Instagram so make sure you're following our antics.
