Summer Holiday Style
DONNA'S HOLIDAY FAVOURITES...
With the holiday season approaching, and home schooling thankfully coming to an end ( my boys have completely lost all motivation now, and tbh so have I! ) I thought I'd share some new summer purchases & what's on my wish list!
I LOVE this pink Cheesecloth dress ( and everything else NBRY sells) I would wear this over a swimsuit to the beach or to wander around a holiday market with a straw hat. It's so pretty with the ruffle neckline (you know I love a ruffle or a bow!) but the fabric makes it a daytime piece so it would look stylish but not too over the top.

SARAH'S PICKS FOR STAYCATION ISLAND STYLE...
Living on an island can be tricky when it comes to fashion as the weather can change very quickly, boats are the transport of choice and when it comes to shoes, we have beaches, dirt tracks and no pavements as such! Simple and classic pieces are usually the way forward so for anyone just about to embark on a UK beach holiday, here are few of my current key pieces...
I have literally lived in my denim skirt this summer - it goes with pretty much everything in my wardrobe and as I usually live in jeans it is nice to be able to get my legs out! I love this one from Zara (who are one of the only companies that deliver to us by next day delivery here on Scilly).
I am an absolute sucker for a floaty white top and this wide silk blend blouse from H&M is the latest one to make its way into my basket!
I literally live in simple sliders in the summer months - and each year invest in a neutral pair that I can dress up or dress down - these Bertie Mules from Dune are my choice for this year.
We all know that the weather in the UK can be unpredictable to say the least! A lightweight throw on jacket is an essential accessory when holidaying in the UK - I love this pale pink boxy one from H&M and it has a hood to keep a check on your frizzy hair moments!!
Finally - a good all round dress is an essential - one you can wear with either trainers during the day or Dress up with sandals in the evening...and obviously one that will look good with a denim or leather look jacket for those cool breezy UK evenings!!! I love this green floaty dress from Zara which not only looks great but the viscose used in production is obtained from wood grown in sustainably managed forests and meets strict environmental standards.
