DML Team's Tips for a cosy Autumn

Now that Autumn is well and truly here, the DML Team are hunkering down and embracing the cosiness of the season.
Here are Team DML's top tips for staying snug as the days get shorter and the nights draw in…

DONNA

I love to relax with a pile of interior magazines - my perfect escape where I can dream about future plans for my home.

SARAH

Winter on the islands generally means that everything is closed and there is pretty much nothing to do!
A lot of overcompensating takes place creating cosy evenings in!  Fairy lights are in abundance, log fire lit, comfort food made, scented candles flickering away and Strictly on the TV as the wind howls outside and the palm trees get a battering!! Fab-u-lous darling!

LARA

I have a cup of Twinings Early Grey and a piece of homemade cake (Mary Berry recipes are my go to). Aldi candles smell divine and are a bargain at £3.99

MICHELLE

Autumn means a move from summer salads to warming comfort food for me.  Time to get Jamie Oliver’s One Pan Wonders book off the shelf and get into the kitchen.  There’s also nothing as nice as the first time you put your winter coat back on- it’s like getting a big warm hug.

ROBYN

For me, Autumn is all about a bracing walk and coming home to a cuppa and a cosy blanket.  Think the cosiness feels extra special when you’ve been out in the cold.
